Literature Text

Step One

Start writing. The hardest part of all. The second you get going, your momentum starts to fall.

Step Three

Go out of order, just so the flow doesn't hitch. When you're trying to keep things straight you'll find you have a glitch.

Step Two

Flick off inspiration. All you need is you. If writing is what you desire—don't stop to think, just do.

Step Four

Go on without a doubt. For words will starttoblendand rhyme schemes will falter and you may have run ons that are too long or misspellings improper. Whatever you do don't stop even though it's corny crap, the test is all the rough spots—then you're back on track.

Step Five

Make it fun. That's all there is to say.

Step Six

Try to finish, don't put it off a day.

Step Seven

Is a hard one, because it makes you really think. Write about what happened—what put you on the brink.

Step Eight

Makes no sense but neither does this rhyme. Since there's two more steps to go—better save some time. Refrigerator.

Step Nine

Love it all. No matter what 'all' is. If you're a writer now, your job is there to make it what it is.

Step Ten

Is the last, because it comes right after nine. Your writing is what completes you; what will stay long after time. Make it who you are, tell your hopes and share your dreams. Laugh at what is funny, and see it for what it seems.

This poem was to help you, like it has maybe helped me. But now the poem's over—so let the words be free.
I HAVE RETURNED!

Just a thing I wrote about writer's block to help me get rid of my writer's block. Hope it helps you!
