Few steady drops
Linger quietly behind
Slight breeze blowing
Through the silent pine

Translucent leaves glitter
In the fading evening sun
Birds pick up their tune
Although the day is done

Rippling puddles wait
For feet to trample though
Grass settles down
Glistening with dew

Clouds all drift away
Removing any trace
The world returns to normal—
